Times are getting harder and everyone seems to be worried about how finances would be managed. Students who are in schools and colleges seem a lot more worried because every semester they need new textbooks, which of course cost a lot. The thing, no government is doing anything about this and the publishers continue to make textbooks more expensive every year; how can a normal student afford these? A few students are lucky enough that their parents end up paying for their textbooks and other education expenses but what about the other students? Where would they manage money for all this?
A university student works hard and saves up money so he can pay for his fee and hostel charges and eventually he gets frustrated when the expense of textbooks get over him. May be the government is not ready to focus on this aspect of education or may be it has better things to do than this. Well, whatever the case might be; expensive textbooks are really killing the students from inside. I have seen students who left studies because they cannot afford to buy textbooks anymore; can things get any worse than this? I don’t think so.
So is there any place where students can find cheaper textbooks? To be honest with you, I surely have some ideas that are quite effective but I do not have a sure address where you can purchase cheaper textbooks. Internet has made out lives pretty easy today and you can search for your desired textbooks online as well. There are plenty of book stores online who will have your required textbook and I am sure you will find a reasonable price if you search well enough. There are many online stores that would charge you nothing for the shipment of your ordered textbooks and if you order multiple books than a good amount of discount can also be availed.
Another effective idea to save money over textbooks is to go for the second hand ones. I am sure you might be friends with a few seniors as well. Talk to them before time and see if you can have their textbooks once they pass out and you move in to their grade. Many would not even ask you for money while a few might ask for a little. It is always better to go with this option and get cheaper textbooks than looking for places to buy new ones.
